Today(05/May/2007) Myself and one of my roommate Sandeep visited to Washigton DC throw METRO, Actually one of my friend Parthiban stayed near to washington with his wife priya. I went specially to see my friend and we spend full day in DC and visited some good places. It’s really enjoyable day.
We visited to following places, But Washington fully filled by museum only.
- The White House
- Washington Monuments
- US Capitol
- US Botanic Garden
- National Air and Space Museum
- World War II Memorial
- Lincoln Memorial
The White House: This neo-classical sandstone mansion is home to the President of the United States.
Washington Monuments : George Washington made it clear that he wanted nothing more than a simple equestrian statue erected in his honor
US Capitol: the Capitol, home of the Senate.
US Botanic Garden:
National Air and Space Museum: Museums, the Air & Space Museum displays artifacts and airplanes that dangle from the ceiling that date from the earliest times of aviation to space exploration.
World War II Memorial:
Lincoln Memorial: The Lincoln Memorial is a tribute to President Abraham Lincoln and the nation he fought to preserve during the Civil War (1861-1865).
