Bangalore to Yercaud Ride.
Ride Participants: Udhaya Kumar.V & Kartik Ayyar in Thunder Bird from Silver Bullets Group.
Road Map: Bangalore(Silk Board) –NH7–> Krishnagiri –> Dharmapuri –> Salam –>Yercaud (245KM)
Total km: 525 km (round trip)
Road Status: Excellent high way, except Krishnagiri to Dharmapuri, because of high way construction.
Duration/Date Time: one and half days. we started on 03/May/08 6.20 AM at Silk Board & came back to Bangalore on 04/May/08 1.00 PM, after noon.
Petrol Bunk: Top of the mountain (Yercaud) also you can find petrol bunk. Yes off course you can find in high ways.

03/May/08 6.20 AM : Karthik, Udhaya & Jayan.S.R planed to ride, but jayan not feeling well, so myself and karthik was started the ride. Its amazing road, we took breakfast at Krishnagiri and reached Yercaud at 10.30 AM. Its really wonderful ride with karthik.
We thought of dump our bags in some hotel room and spend some time in Yercaud, but we spend more time to get one single room & visited more then 10 hotels. Its season, so most of the hotels already full. Finally we got one deluxe room (990 rs per day) and dumped our bags and took rest.
No we decided to stay back in yercaud, So after noon we went for some sight seeing Yercaud Lake, Kiliyur Falls, Shevaroyan Temple, Pagoda Point, Monfort School, Lady’s Seat. Its good place to see one time !! We came back to room at 6.00 PM itself.
04/May/08 7.30 AM : we started our return journey and completed breakfast at salam, we decided to ride slow and took one more break at Krishnagiri. We reached home at 1.00 pm afternoon.

Yercaud is a nice place to visit in this Season. Moreover the importance to that place is, it is near to my Native place, Salem.
How many more days you are planning to ride as a bachelor. Get Married and ride with your wife and Children. When you search for a girl, please add the criteria, that she should know to drive Thunderbird
